Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SoftLOGiX, Inc. ("SoftLOGiX", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Stocksaurus® website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and account credentials when you register; billing and transaction details when you subscribe (payment card data is handled by our payment processors, not stored by us); and any information you submit through forms, such as our Contact page. We also automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and usage activity.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, maintain security, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect the functionality of the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and maintain the Service; to create and manage your account; to process subscriptions and payments; to send you transactional messages, verification emails, and service-related notices; to respond to your inquiries; to improve and secure the Service; and to comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing (e.g., PayPal), email delivery (e.g., Brevo), and hosting; these providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
6. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Your data is stored in Microsoft Azure SQL Database, a managed enterprise database platform hosted in Microsoft's data centers. Those facilities are operated by Microsoft under its own security and compliance programs, including controlled physical access and infrastructure monitoring.
Encryption in transit. Connections between your browser and the Service, and between the Service and our database, are encrypted using TLS. Our database connections are configured to require encryption and to validate the server certificate.
Encryption at rest. Azure SQL Database applies Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), which encrypts the database, its backups, and its transaction logs at rest, with the underlying encryption keys managed by the Azure platform. Account credentials are stored in protected form rather than as plain text.
Access controls. Access to the database is restricted by network-level firewall rules that limit which services and addresses may connect, and by database accounts scoped to the access they need. Administrative access to production systems is limited to a small number of authorized personnel. Payment card details are not stored on our systems; they are handled by our payment processors.
Backups and resilience. The Azure SQL platform performs automated, encrypted backups with point-in-time restore and provides platform-level redundancy, which helps protect against data loss. We also apply updates to the Service on an ongoing basis.
These measures reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update your account information at any time or contact us to exercise these rights. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages; we may still send you transactional messages related to your account.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. International Users
If you access the Service from outside the country in which our systems are hosted, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in that country. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer and processing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
